For the logo, we explored three initial design concepts, which then expanded into six different variations. Each iteration played with shapes, textures, and styles to best reflect Lucy’s dynamic, bold brand. After refining the options, we narrowed them down to one or two finalists, further enhancing the design by adjusting font weights to achieve a bolder and more memorable logo. This process allowed the logo to truly embody the essence of the brand.
The colours evolved from a dark brown with burnt orange to a much brighter, energetic palette of vibrant oranges and burnt oranges. To create contrast and add visual interest, I introduced a petrol blue and teal, which created a striking balance with the warm tones. These colours complemented each other perfectly, providing a dynamic and fresh look that is both fun and professional.
For typography, I selected Jules Colossal, a curvy and playful font that became the central element of the brand. This font added personality and uniqueness, pairing beautifully with a simpler, clean serif font like Jules Sans. The combination of these fonts helped create a balance between boldness and elegance, working seamlessly with the contrasting colour palette.
Fry Media’s imagery and portfolio mockups reflect sophistication and creativity, showcasing high-end design with sleek visuals and attention to detail. Bold brand colours create a cohesive identity, enhancing contrast and professionalism. Polished mockups and luxury-styled images highlight premium quality, positioning Fry Media as a leader in design and storytelling.
For stationery, we developed Lucy’s business card by first presenting three initial designs. After refining and tweaking the designs, we landed on one final fun and bold version that matched her evolving colour scheme. This design was versatile and complemented the overall brand as the project progressed.

Bold visuals, a dynamic colour palette, and clear messaging create an immediate impact, ensuring visitors quickly connect with the brand’s identity.
