The Brief

While freelancing at Blueprint Design, I was tasked with creating large event signage as part of Vivisol UK’s complete rebrand. The client needed an expo stand design that would be eye-catching, informative, and align with their new branding. The brief also included designing smaller pop-up signs for different areas of their medical services. The goal was to produce modern, engaging visuals that captured Vivisol fresh, bold look, with clear, welcoming communication.

The Process

I began by thoroughly reviewing Vivisol UK’s updated brand guidelines to ensure that all the design elements were consistent with their new identity. I then worked on the layout for the large expo sign, focusing on clarity, accessibility, and engagement. The design had to be bold and impactful, using vibrant colours, clean curves, and strong typography. I also made sure the signage had a welcoming feel, incorporating photography and using soft complementary colours to soften the overall look. After finalising the expo sign, I designed the smaller pop-up signs, maintaining the same style and colour palette but tailored to specific medical niches within Vivisol’s services.

The Result

The event signage and pop-up signs have been widely used by Vivisol UK at various expos and events. The design was not only visually striking but also extremely functional, helping to establish a clear brand identity in a crowded space. The success of this project ensured that Vivisol UK had a cohesive, modern visual presence at their events, which is now an integral part of their marketing strategy.

The Reflection

This project was very rewarding as the design was approved without any amendments. The client was thrilled with the result, and the signage became a key visual element for their events. Looking back, I feel the design perfectly reflected Vivasol’s new branding and values, offering both professionalism and warmth. If I could improve on anything, I’d consider working more closely with the client on refining the copy to enhance its fit within the layout. However, due to brand guidelines, I’m not sure if this would have been possible.
